I wear many hats
I'm Lobna Bayoumy, and my passion for art has always been at the core of who I am. From a young age, I was drawn to creative expression, which led me to study illustration in Manhattan. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of exploring various art fields, and it’s through conversations with others that I often find inspiration for my next piece.
People are my biggest source of inspiration. I love capturing the essence of a person, using my characters to tell stories that feel both personal and universal.
My Beginnings

Everyday day, I wake up with an urge to create. Putting pencil to paper brings a kind of childlike freedom that’s hard to put into words. I work primarily with traditional mediums: charcoal, watercolor, and oil paint. I️ love bringing to life characters with exaggerated personalities that feel larger than life.
I picked up ceramics during the pandemic. Self taught through YouTube tutorials, I quickly developed a passion for the craft. Now, I love mixing my illustrations onto my work and making unique forms.

I started photography in high school, working with film in the darkroom and I fell in love instantly. Over time, that passion for visual storytelling grew beyond still images into video, animation, and claymation.
